Vacation Bible School will be held July 26 - 30 from 5:00pm - 8:30pm each night, hosted at our church. We will be joining with the downtown Methodist and Baptist Churches. If you can help in any way, please contact Leanne Jurczyk or Brian Mitchell or call Tabitha in the church office.

Our church is participating in the 10 cents a meal program. All money collected will go to our monthly ministry at the Hamlet Soup Kitchen. If you would like to participate, you can do so in three ways: pay through the online portal and specify the amount for the 10 cents a meal program; send in money/check to the church office and specify the amount for the 10 cents a meal program; or place money/check in the offering plate, either in an envelope that you mark for the 10 cents a meal program or in the marked bag in the offering plate. Thank you to everyone that has donated!

All who are interested in purchasing a church t-shirt should contact Keri Humann at Classic Apparel or Tabitha in the church office.

If you would like to schedule an office appointment or home visit with Rev. David Cagle, please call Tabitha at 910-895-6335.

This Sunday is Pentecost and all church members are asked to wear red, as is tradition for this church celebration.

Congratulations to Katie Satterfield and Stephen Abrams, who were married in our Sanctuary on May 16. Katie is the daughter of Cory and Pam Satterfield. We wish the happy couple all the best in the future.

Love and prayers to the family of Linda McLester, who passed away this week. Please remember her family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Donna McLaurin and Karen Allen would like to get a group of ladies to go to the Women's Conference Horizon Gazing: Hope in the Here and Now at Montreat August 14-16. The cost is $254. Donna has room for 5 additional people, along with herself. If more than 5 are interested, we can look at hotel accommodations nearby. This Sunday we will celebrate our graduating Seniors during the worship service and at a covered dish lunch following the service. We encourage everyone to attend and honor our church graduates. High School graduates: Marlee Austin - RSHS; Emma Humann - NCSSM; Carson Hunsucker - REaCh and College graduates: Lauren Humann - ECU; Addison Massey - UNC-CH; Lance Shepherd - RCC; Katie Satterfield - UNC-CH

This Sunday is the third Sunday of the month and our monthly food collection for the Our Daily Bread Ministry. Please place all donations by the pulpit before or after the church service. Shelf-stable food needs throughout the year include: canned meats, greens, and corn; dry goods like instant noodles, macaroni and cheese, rice, and beans; as well as other staples such as peanut butter, soup, pasta, canned fish/stew/fruit/vegetables.

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate our graduating seniors during worship and honor this exciting milestone in their lives. 🎓💛

After the service, we’ll gather for a covered dish luncheon filled with food, fellowship, and celebration. Everyone is invited — just bring a dish to share!

We hope you’ll come celebrate with our church family as we encourage and pray over these incredible students and the bright futures ahead of them.
