Thoughts from this pastor’s pew…..
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
If you make it to the church dinners but miss Bible Study/Sunday School, there’s a problem. You are not well studied. You are walking in the flesh and not in the Spirit.
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.....
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”
Romans 8:5-8
-Recognize this sin.
-Ask God to forgive you of the sin of heeding to the flesh and quenching the Holy Spirit.
-Repent, do better & ask Him to teach & guide you.
-Purpose in your heart to have Godly desires.
•DINNERS FILL THE BELLY. BIBLES FILL THE SOUL.
