The Center for the Arts and Spirituality CAS is devoted to providing opportunities for spiritual growth through the arts to traditionally underserved communities in the Rockford area.

Fifteen years ago, in a burst of creative energy, people of Emmanuel Lutheran Church expressed their love and desire to help heal our planet and connect with each other through new and creative ventures and programs. The Center for the Arts and Spirituality (CAS) was developed so that Emmanuel Lutheran Church can expand its outreach efforts to a larger part of the spiritual and art community in th

e Rockford area. We focus our resources on developing social impacts that provide various diverse populations the ability to explore and develop their spirituality and artistic expression. This makes the Rockford community a more creative and positive place in which to live.
