Cedar Bluff Cemetery Association

Cedar Bluff Cemetery Association Located on the city’s east side at the intersection of Longwood and Rural Streets. It is one of Rockford’s oldest cemeteries, established in February of 1847.

Averaging 70+ burials per year, Cedar Bluff is one of the lowest cost for burials in the area.

Multiple trees and branches have come down in this wind storm. This will take us time to clean up. Be careful if you visit the cemetery during these high winds and don’t park under any trees.

Also. Spring decoration removal is complete. New decorations will remain until October unless they are not allowed.

A huge thank you and shout out to Brad Wick and his crew at Wick Automotive for staying late and finishing the fixes on our work/plow truck the night before thanksgiving. We were able to get all of the work done today for a service on Monday and now we are ready to plow this impending snowstorm.

Just a reminder that ALL decorations will be removed the first weekend in October, starting Friday, October 3. If there is anything you do not want taken and discarded, we recommend you come and pick it up before then. All decorations will be removed and discarded at this time.
