Project 1013-Rockford IL One Week. One Hope. A World of Difference We invite you to join us as neighbors serve one another in an effort to restore hope and a strong sense of community!

Learning from the directions for ministry Jesus gave the disciples in Matthew 10, specifically verse 13, Project 1013 strives to bring churches and our community together to serve those in our city. Since its inception in 2011, Project 1013 has seen lives changed and buildings improved as we empower people to make a difference through community service projects ranging from neighborhood cleanup to providing holiday meals.

Project 1013
We would love for you to join us for our community outreach which we call Project 1013. This is our 9th year to complete this project and is a big help to the City of Rockford.
There are two opportunities to volunteer. This weekend June 20 - 21 and again next weekend June 28 -29. Come for part of the day or all day. Any help is welcome.

Here is what you need to know:
1.) Meet at Mt Zion Baptist Church 404 N Avon Street at 9:00 AM and you will receive instructions for the work day and all work materials
2.) Please make sure to wear long sleeves and jeans. There are many areas with poison ivy where we will be working. We will provide gloves but you will want to make sure the rest of your skin is protected.
3. ) Where closed toed shoes for safety.
4.) Free lunch will be provided.
5.) All ages are welcome but anyone under the age of 15 needs to be with a parent.
