Sometimes God says NO.
Sometimes the THORN is necessary.
Sometimes you just have to deal with it.

Thank Him, for the β€œTHORNS” In your life!
Thank Him, for the unanswered prayers!

Sometimes God had to put you in an uncomfortable position, so you will MOVE!

If everything was smooth and you got everything you wanted then you would forget about HIM!

He doesn’t get His way, so why should you?!

God calls us to holiness, not to happiness. He wants you to be happy YES, however He wants us to honor Him with our daily choices and overall lifestyle. According to the Bible, there is right and wrong. And when som**hing is wrong (or simply stupid), God says β€œdon’t do it” – even if it was making us happy.

Thank You, Father, for the thorns throughout my life. Thank You, Father that Your ways are better than my own and You know what I need and when I need it. Thank You, Father, that my unanswered prayers IS Your answer! Thank You, Father, for making that situation so uncomfortable that I had to get UP and get OUT! Thank You, Father for working in my weakness because You knew I wasn’t strong enough to handle the situation on my own. Thank You, Father, that my strength comes from You. You don’t make it hard, I do. Your yolk is easy and your burden is light. Thank You! πŸ™πŸΌ Thank You, that the more I lean on You, the easier it is, to do the right things. And Father, Your opinion of me and is all that matters, so whether or not someone else is pleased with what I chose to stay away from is not my problem nor concern. I live to please You and to make Your heart happy, so if a thorn in my side is what it takes to keep me on the right track….Thank YOU!!!

*TRIGGER WARNING… contains SA*

I was molested and r***d from kindergarten until I moved to Wynne the summer after my 5th grade year, my mom was a crack head then a m**h head,I watched her get beat by Mike every weekend once they started smoking crack, my dad stayed drunk and was really mean most nights when he came home drunk. He started getting me & my friends drunk either in 6th grade or the summer after. I started using m**h when I was 18 because I didn't know how to deal with being molested and my childhood life I stopped by the time I was 20 but I started drinking and taking pills by the time I was 24 and that lasted until I was in my 30s. I've not done m**h in 20 years and I stopped being a pill head and alcoholic sometime in my 30s. I'm still hurt by childhood traumas, I still get scared of certain men especially if they are wearing cut off blue jean shorts or the original old spice. The reason why I'm telling yall this is because if you want you can over come anything you go through you can get clean and live a clean sober good life. If any of my friends ever need to talk about childhood traumas that hurt them still today or adult traumas please message me and I will listen please stop doing heavy drugs and drinking trying to forget and numb your traumas because I'm telling you from experience they will still be there when you are sober. You have to learn to deal with traumas sober so we can work through them and become better people. Remember you are loved even if you think you aren't! I love you and I want you to have a better life.
Peace & love & recovery
Love yourself finally
