Come to the prayer closet...
Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Oh Father, the day of the cross has been replaced by an empty tomb; the darkness of death has turned to a glorious Son Risen; sorrow has become joy. How beautiful our Salvation is!

The cross was the place Your Son paid the price for our sin. The grave is the burial site where our sins were buried after being nailed to the cross. An empty tomb is the promise of eternal life for all who believe. How beautiful our Salvation is!

How true Jesus was when He proclaimed: "Truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice. You will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy." Oh the joy of our beautiful Salvation!

Come to the prayer closet...
This the day the Lord has made...what a wonderful thought to keep in mind today. Lord, You have made this day, You have nudged us from our slumber, You have given us eyes to see and hear Your creation. Oh, what a blessed day it is!

Today we remember Your entrance into Jerusalem. It is the beginning of Passion Week. You passionately served us, died for us. You endured the pain, suffering, sorrow for us. You took our sin nailing it to the Cross on Calvary. Oh, what a blessed day it is!

Cause us to see You with new eyes, hear You with new ears. Bring freshness to our soul. Revive us in remembrance of Your remembering us, rescuing us, restoring us. Oh, what a blessed day it is!

Amen!
