Faith Center

Faith Center We invite you to join us on Sundays for our 10 AM service! Faith Center is a life-giving church, led by Pastor Marla Eash.

As we step into 2026, our vision is focused on building people and building the Church—strengthening faith, growing community, and becoming who God has called us to be. Our desire is to provide a place for people to experience God and fulfill His purpose for their lives. Faith Center Church is a non-denominational congregation of believers in Rockford, Illinois whose purpose is to show the uncondi

tional love of God as well as raise up disciples and followers of Christ. The Bible says that the world will know us (the church) by our love. It is our goal to train others to effectively show forth that love in order to establish an environment that compels all who come, to know Him personally. God sent His only son Jesus into this fallen world to give life more abundantly to all who will receive it. When there seemed to be no way of redemption, Jesus came and provided one through His death, burial and resurrection. Our desire and prayer is that all who come through the doors of Faith Center will have an experience with God that will revolutionize their lives and give them a hope and understanding of what they can be in Christ.

This Sunday at Faith Center will be a little different, and we are so expectant for what God wants to do.

Instead of a typical service, we are setting aside the morning simply to worship the Lord and make room for the Holy Spirit to lead. No rush. No agenda beyond honoring Jesus, lifting His name, and allowing Him to move in the way only He can.

We are so honored to have Rachel and Luke Dillaman with us as they lead us in this special time of worship.

Come ready to worship. Come ready to receive. Come ready to encounter the presence of God.

Service begins at 10 AM, and we would love for you to join us this Sunday at Faith Center. All are welcome.

Pastor Bev Tucker is back this week for Midweek Service, and you do not want to miss it.

She will be teaching on “Our Authority in Christ Jesus” — and the truth that the authority we have been given through Him is no match for the enemy.

So many believers are living under pressure, fear, intimidation, or spiritual attack without realizing what Jesus has already placed in their hands. But the enemy is not greater than the name of Jesus. Darkness does not outrank the Kingdom of God. And the power of hell cannot overpower the authority of Christ.

Come ready to be strengthened, equipped, and reminded of who you are in Him.

Join us this Wednesday for Midweek Service. All are welcome — whether you attend Faith Center regularly or you are simply hungry to grow deeper in the Word and in the power of God.

Come expecting. Come ready. Come receive.

Sunday morning, Apostle Marla brought a powerful word titled “The BLOOD — Thorns or Redemption” and opened with James 1:2-5.

“Consider it pure joy… whenever you face trials of many kinds…”

That scripture does not say trials are easy. It does not say they feel good. It does not say we will always understand them in the moment.

But it does remind us that God is doing something even in the pressure.

The thorns Jesus wore were not just a picture of suffering — they became part of the story of our redemption. What looked like pain was carrying purpose. What looked like defeat was actually the pathway to victory.

And because of the blood of Jesus, our trials do not get the final word.

The testing of our faith produces perseverance. Perseverance produces maturity. And when we lack wisdom, we are invited to ask God — the One who gives generously.

Whatever thorn you may be facing today, bring it under the blood. God is not wasting the pressure. He is working redemption, strengthening your faith, and bringing forth something eternal.

There is power in the blood of Jesus. There is purpose in the process. And there is redemption even where the thorns have been.

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause with grateful hearts to honor the men and women who gave their lives for this country — those who paid the ultimate price so we could live in freedom.

And as we remember their sacrifice, we are also reminded of the greatest sacrifice ever made: Jesus giving His life so we could be truly free. Free from sin. Free from shame. Free to live in hope, grace, and new life through Him.

Tomorrow morning, we would love for you to join us at Faith Center. Come expectant, come ready to worship, and come ready to be encouraged in the presence of God.

Bring your family, invite a friend, and let’s gather together with thankful hearts.

Have you spent time with Jesus today?

And if the honest answer is “not yet”… here’s your gentle reminder: it’s not too late.

Before the day ends, take a few minutes to pause, breathe, pray, open the Word, or simply sit with Him.

You don’t have to make it fancy. You don’t have to have the perfect words. You just have to come.

Time with Jesus is never wasted. It’s always a good idea. He is peace for your mind, rest for your soul, and strength for tomorrow.

End your day near Him. 🤍

“Come near to God and He will come near to you.” — James 4:8

If you need healing—in your body, your mind, your heart, or your home—don’t carry it quietly. Bring it into the presence of God.

This Wednesday at Faith Center’s Midweek service(6:30PM) we’re honored to have Pastor Evelyn Gipson teaching on healing—and what it means to name and claim the Word of God with faith. Not wishful thinking… but standing on what God has already spoken, and learning how to agree with heaven until things shift.

We’ll worship, we’ll pray together, and we’ll make room for God to move—because Jesus still heals, and His Word is still true.

“He sent His word and healed them…” — Psalm 107:20
“By His stripes we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

🕡 Service starts at 6:30PM

Everyone is welcome. And there’s always time at the end for anyone who needs prayer.

Tomorrow morning at Faith Center, we are honored to welcome Pastor Rick McGough!

Pastor Rick has spent decades serving the Body of Christ — from pastoring in Illinois for 34 years to now traveling and equipping believers through apologetics, helping people understand not just what they believe, but why they believe it. His heart is to strengthen believers of all ages in a culture that is increasingly challenging the truth of God’s Word.

We believe tomorrow is going to be a powerful morning of teaching, encouragement, and faith-building truth. Come ready to be strengthened, challenged, and equipped!

Join us tomorrow morning at 10 AM — bring your family, invite a friend, and come expecting God to move.

This Wednesday at Faith Center's Midweek service, Pastor Bev will be teaching on:
“Ruling with Our God-given Authority.”

We need to be standing on the word of God and knowing what the cross accomplished, and refusing to live beneath what Jesus purchased. If you’ve been feeling pushed around by fear, heaviness, temptation, intimidation, or “I’ll never change,” tonight is a reminder: you were not created to be the enemy’s target—you were created to live victoriously in Christ.

We’ll worship, unite in corporate prayer over our families, community, and nation, and make space at the end for anyone who needs personal prayer.

“Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” — Ephesians 6:10

There is a shift God can make that no situation, no diagnosis, no addiction, no rebellion, no darkness, and no enemy can stop.
What looks dead to you is not dead to God.
What looks too far gone is not beyond His reach.
What looks wasted, broken, lost, or impossible can still be touched by the resurrection power of Jesus.

The enemy wants you to believe it’s over.
That too much damage has been done.
That too many years have been lost.
That your prayers are not working.

But God is stirring a burning coal of faith inside of you again.

A faith that says:
I will not stop praying.
I will not agree with the lie.
I will not hand my family over to darkness.
I will stand in the authority of the blood of Jesus and declare what God says over them.

They are not too far gone.
They are not forgotten.
They are not beyond redemption.
They are children of God.
They are arrows in the camp of darkness.
They are marked for purpose.
They are covered by the blood of Jesus.

Like Rizpah, you stand.
You watch.
You pray.
You fight off every lying thought, every tormenting spirit, every devouring thing that tries to convince you the story is finished.

Because the rain of redemption is coming.

Do not let the coal go out.
Do not grow weary in well-doing.
In due season, you will reap if you do not give up.

Pray until you win.
Stand until the rain comes.
Believe until the shift happens.
