Bethesda Covenant Church Youth Group Memories Page - Austin Kaufmann Era Back in the mid 1970s (until the early 1980s) Austin Kaufman was the youth pastor at Bethesda Covenant Church in Rockford Illinois.

The Bethesda Covenant Church Youth Group (led by Austin & Judy Kaufmann in the 1970s/80s) has had a lasting influence on the youth and their families in Greater Rockford, IL. Austin, his wife Judy, and the Bethesda membership (including all of our parents) provided a very positive influence on the youth who participated in the numerous programs and activities.
