As your leaders reflect back on Camp Club 56, we’re overwhelmed with the fact that we GET to do this.
We are a group of ordinary, imperfect people who have the privilege of sharing the love of Jesus with these students. As Christians, we are called to serve, and we said yes. But we are the ones being blessed tenfold.
Parents this is your reminder that your kids are deeply loved by an incredible team of volunteers.
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, this is your sign. The Kingdom is worth saying yes to ❤️

Dr. Mitch Prinstein, Senior Science Advisor of the American Psychological Association (American Psychological Association), shared this with me:

“Chris, there are no findings showing harm to children who stay off of social media. In fact, some emerging evidence suggests that the most socially competent kids are refraining from using these platforms.”

In other words, ! Because the risks that come with “yes” far outweigh the risks that come with “no” and “slow.”
