Why do we call it "Good" Friday?
It seems like a contradiction to label a day of such suffering as "good," but the name points to the ultimate sacrifice that changed everything.

It is "good" because it represents the depth of God’s love and the promise of mercy, forgiveness, and eternal life for everyone. While the cross was a moment of grief, it was the necessary step toward the hope of the Resurrection.

In the Gospel of Mark, we see the gravity of this moment:

"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, 'Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?' which means, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'" — Mark 15:34

Jesus entered into the darkest depths of the human experience so that we would never have to. Today, we reflect on that sacrifice with heavy hearts but immense gratitude, knowing that Sunday is coming.

Happy New Year! 🎉 Today isn't just a turn of the calendar; it's a reminder that in Christ, we are offered a fresh start and a new purpose EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
The past is behind us, and God is doing a new thing!

May your resolutions be rooted in His power, and your steps guided by His peace. Let's make this year count for His kingdom!.....................
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." - 2 Corinthians 5:17

As we wrap up 2025, and the clock ticks down on the final hours of this year, we pause to remember God's unwavering faithfulness. Every struggle was met with His compassion, and every joy was a sign of His blessing.

We don't know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. Let's step into 2026 not with worry, but with full trust in His plan for us!

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23

Christmas Day reminds us that God's boundless love is the source of every good and perfect gift we receive, fully expressed in the indescribable gift of His Son. As you share gifts and gather with loved ones, remember the depth of that divine love that began for us in a humble manger.

The waiting is over, but the journey of love continues! Now that the Christ Light has come, let us be inspired by this gift to live out His love every day of the year, serving and giving generously as He first gave to us.
