Jesus poured out His life on the cross for our redemption—but His ultimate sacrifice is not a substitute for the daily pouring out of our own hearts. We can’t respond to His radical love with lukewarm indifference. True, simple worship means laying our lives open before Him every day and saying, "God, I just want You."
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” — Psalm 139:23–24

Stop trying to produce fruit in overdrive. 🍇 🚗 If the devil can't make you sin, he’ll happily make you busy—because both cut off your connection to the Vine.

This week, let’s audit our calendars. Are we scheduling space to actually abide, or are we ignoring the warning lights on our spiritual dashboards? Shift into "Park" today.

Why do we call it "Good" Friday?
It seems like a contradiction to label a day of such suffering as "good," but the name points to the ultimate sacrifice that changed everything.

It is "good" because it represents the depth of God’s love and the promise of mercy, forgiveness, and eternal life for everyone. While the cross was a moment of grief, it was the necessary step toward the hope of the Resurrection.

In the Gospel of Mark, we see the gravity of this moment:

"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, 'Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?' which means, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'" — Mark 15:34

Jesus entered into the darkest depths of the human experience so that we would never have to. Today, we reflect on that sacrifice with heavy hearts but immense gratitude, knowing that Sunday is coming.
