Stateline Youth for Christ

Stateline YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus.

Stateline YFC exists for one reason: To reach lost kids throughout the Stateline area with the gospel of Jesus Christ and in doing so bring gospel-centered transformation to the Stateline area. We aim to do this through mentoring, healthy relationships, and creative programming. We work together with the local church and other like-minded organizations to bring life to the stories of our young peo

Looking back on one year at the City Life Center! 🙌

Just one year ago today, we were celebrating the grand opening of the City Life Center. Now, a year later, we’re so grateful to God for all that we, and the young people who have walked through these doors, have experienced.

They’ve had fun, learned challenging lessons, built lasting relationships, and, most importantly, been introduced to Jesus.

During the 2025–2026 school year: 478 distinct youth checked into the Center, 409 of them were brand new to YFC, and we served an average of 80–100 youth each week.

What a year! We’re incredibly thankful for everyone who has prayed, served, given, and helped make the City Life Center a place where young people can belong, grow, and encounter Jesus.

We can’t wait to see what God has in store for this next year!

Summertime with YFC looks like soaking up the sunshine, painting in the park, and spending a day at a theme park trying new things and facing a few fears.

But beneath the fun, ministry in the summer is about so much more. It's about building deeper relationships with young people, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, introducing them to new experiences, and inviting them into activities that foster community.

As we look ahead to the start of the school year and kicking off programming, we're excited for another season of walking alongside students. A huge thank you to Stateline Church for spending part of their Love Your Stateline day serving at our City Life Center! 💙

Love Your Stateline is a day when their church steps outside its walls to serve alongside local ministry partners throughout our community, and we're so grateful they chose to invest their time and energy with us.

Because of volunteers like these, we're able to create welcoming spaces for the youth we serve. Thank you for making a difference!

We’re so excited to be a recipient of a grant from The Mill Foundation!

This grant will benefit an SEL-based program we facilitate called Rebalance. Rebalance is dedicated to cultivating essential life skills and social and emotional wellness through engaging activities and RoundTable discussions that utilize a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) approach. It’s a program designed to address difficulties in social and emotional wellness and help to foster a sense of hope and resilience, particularly for participants who have experienced ongoing challenges.

We’re grateful to the Mill Foundation for this grant that will help us expand Rebalance’s reach to include even more youth, particularly Rockford’s immigrant and refugee population and youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Thank you to The Mill Foundation!
