As we celebrate a century of ministry, we asked 3 of our members this question: What wisdom would you share as Bethesda looks forward to the next 100 years?
Here is what they said:
"My advice for Bethesda is to share your faith. Sharing shows up in many ways ranging from praying for others and with them, serving in church or places of need, and explaining the ways in which God has changed your life. When we share our faith it allows us to bring the love of God through us, into others. As Dan says at the end of service “Go be his church” and sharing our faith with others is one the ways as believers we can do that."
-Norah (17)
"In life there are always changes, some good, some bad. Moving forward, don’t lose your first love. One guiding principle of our Swedish ancestors is to ask the questions: Where is it written? And how is your walk? Which is like us saying at Bethesda - "Now get out of here and go be the church"
-Karin
"I would say, as we pray for Bethesda to prosper and to grow, it's also important to remember that it's been around for 100 years doing things very well. So approve upon, but don't fix what's not broke. Pastor Dan has been preaching a lot lately on, same Jesus, same message, same mission. So yeah, steady the ship and continue North."

Feel free to share any wisdom you have down below, and here's to the next 100 years!
