Happy Snowy Sunday❄️
Please check out Pastor Robs’s message and snow update on Our Savior’s page. You may watch online or come if you are able safely in person.
Sunday School Lesson today is on the Lord’s Prayer.
Make a fun adventure in your home by writing out the prayer (below)and hiding them around the house. Give clues to seek and find or play hot and cold to retrieve parts of prayer. Not a race just an adventure. As they find a part of prayer: stop, read part of prayer and ask
when can we pray? How can we pray? Where can we pray?
Answers:
When: Anytime but really get creative with when…. In school at home, in a store…. In a car
How: There is no wrong way to talk to God (on our knees, standing, with hands open, folded, stretched)
Where: Anywhere…..
After you have found parts of prayer put together like a puzzle and read entire prayer together.
Say: God wants us to seek Him, and hide His words in our hearts ♥️
God gave us the how, now we just need to talk to Him and trust Him. He hears us, listens and loves us so much! You are His precious child! 🙏
This week’s challenge is to pray in different ways or have your children lead the prayers 🙏
Stay safe! Build a snowman ⛄️ and pray🙏

The Lord’s Prayer for Children
The Lord’s Prayer is a gift from Jesus to his disciples. It’s helpful to just pray the words he gave us, but they can also teach us how to pray with our own words.
Our Father in heaven,
Remember that the God who created everything loves us like a parent and wants us to know and love him.
Hallowed be your name,
Take a minute to praise God. You may want to thank God for the world our home, for God’s love, for Jesus, or for your family and friends.
Your kingdom come,
(Pray for God to heal the world and make things right. Pray for peace, justice, and an end to hunger and sickness. Try to think of people who are in special need of God’s help.)
Your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
(Pray for people to do what God wants them to do. Ask for God to help you understand what you should do and for the help to do it.)
Give us today our daily bread.
(Take a moment to pray for your own needs, as well as the needs of your family, friends, and church.)
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
(Ask God to forgive you for the ways we don’t love him and other people as we should. Ask for God’s help to be more patient and forgiving towards others.
Is there someone you need God’s help to forgive?)
Save us from the time of trial
(Ask for God’s help with the things that make your life hard, things that upset you, and things that make it hard for you to do what’s right.)
And deliver us from evil.
(Ask for God to protect you and others from evil.)
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
