There is a new chapter ahead for St. John’s.

As part of the United Methodist appointment process, Pastor Madison’s final Sunday with us will be June 21. We are grateful for her ministry, her leadership, and the many ways she has helped shape the life of our church.

Beginning July 1, we will welcome Rev. Bryan Jody as the next pastor of St. John’s, with his first Sunday in worship on July 5.

Transitions always bring a mix of emotions. As we prepare to say goodbye to the Tabor family and welcome the Jody family, we invite you to join us in prayer for both families during this season.

We are thankful for where God has led us, and we look forward with hope to what is ahead. 🤍

Our youth are heading to Livingston June 7–13, and we'd love for our church family to keep them in prayer while they're away. 🤍

There will be projects to complete and work to do, but some of the most meaningful parts of a mission trip happen in the conversations, the friendships, the moments of service, and the ways God meets us when we're willing to step outside our normal routines.

This week, we invite you to pray for one thing each day:

Monday: Safe travels and a good start to the week.
Tuesday: Hearts ready to serve and work together.
Wednesday: Strength, energy, and good health.
Thursday: The people and communities they'll meet.
Friday: Moments that deepen their faith.
Saturday: Friendships that encourage and last.
Sunday: Bringing home what God taught them.

Thank you for praying for our students, our leaders, and everyone they'll meet along the way.

We’re excited to share that St. John’s is hosting Big House this month!

From June 10–14, youth and adults from churches across Texas will be here in Rockdale, working on service projects and loving our community through their time and effort.
