Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney will be the main celebrant at a bilingual Mass offered at Sacred Heart / Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Dover, N.J., at 7 p.m. on June 12 for the National Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Other celebrations throughout the diocese include:
Sacred Heart Church in Rockaway
Holy Hour at 6 p.m.
Mass at 7 p.m.
Includes Act of Consecration

Sacred Heart Church in Clifton
Mass in English at noon
Mass in Spanish at 7 p.m.
Both Masses will include the Act of Consecration.

Check with your local parish for other Mass times and Consecration to the Sacred Heart on June 12.

Heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who participated in our Spring Cleanup & Planting Day!

Your time, hard work, generosity, and love for our parish truly made a big difference in beautifying our church grounds. Because of your helping hands and joyful spirit, our parish community has become even more welcoming and beautiful for all.

Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney will ordain 8 men to the permanent diaconate on May 30 for the Paterson Diocese at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson, N.J.

The eight men to be ordained are:
• Stephen Deehan of St. Luke Parish in the Long Valley section of Washington Township.
• Paul DePinto of St. Joseph Parish in Lincoln Park.
• Timothy Dunmyer of St. Jude Parish in Hopatcong.
• James Gillespie of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Mountain Lakes.
• Tobi Ippolito of Holy Family Parish in Florham Park.
• Tom Kimble of St. Jude Parish in Budd Lake.
• Gregory Marchesi of St. Therese Parish in Succasunna.
