Hey there Rockaway friends (and those close by). RISE UP is a non-profit group serving the greater Rockaway area and committed to providing goods, services, relief resources, advocacy and emotional/spiritual support to the impoverished. We are holding a fundraising baking contest this Sunday. I think it is not too late to enter, it's certainly not too late to join us this weekend. (I'm one of the judges, so you should definitely come by and say hi to me!)

Good Friday reminds us of the sacrifice Jesus made for us out of love that knows no bounds. Come and hear the story set in a Tenebrae service of readings, singing, and candlelight at 7 p.m. this Friday, March 29 in the Sanctuary.
