How we treat people matters to God.

Proverbs 14:31 reminds us that when we mistreat the poor, we dishonor their Maker—but when we show kindness to those in need, we honor Him.

That's a powerful thought: the way we treat people can be an act of worship.

Last Sunday's message challenged us to see people the way God sees them and to ask ourselves where He may be calling us to step in, speak up, and show compassion.

Yesterday we were reminded that following Jesus isn't just about what we believe—it's also about how we respond to the people around us.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves…” — Proverbs 31:8

God calls His people to notice those who are overlooked, defend those who are vulnerable, and stand for what is right. Our faith should move us toward people, not away from them.

What an incredible Sunday at Bridge of Faith!

We spent time in Hebrews 4:14–16, being reminded of one of the most comforting truths about Jesus: He understands.

Jesus doesn’t watch our struggles from a distance. He empathizes with us. He suffers with us. He meets us in our weakness—and He is faithful. Because of Jesus, we can approach God with confidence, knowing we will find mercy and grace when we need it most.
