Mike had a follow-up appt at Mayo with a full work up on Wednesday, April 12. His PET scan looked good. Still waiting to hear back from the Dr on the bone marrow biopsy but the Dr did not seem to think there would be any adverse news there. He does want to proceed with the stem cell boost pending insurance approval, due to Mike’s continued low white blood count. They will use Mike’s frozen stems cells that were collected back in 2016 – he had extra collected back then. He will continue to receive platelets or blood when deemed necessary due to his 2X week blood draws.
