HOW THIRSTY ARE YOU FOR GOD?

Last Sunday’s lesson was of the Samaritan woman at the well. "Whover drinks the water I give them will never thirst." John 4:14.
Jesus went to her knowing her past and who she was. He asked for a drink of water from a woman who wasn't even accepted by the people in her town. He told her He knew who she was and told her the things she had done. This is when she said he must be a prophet and that she knows the Messiah is coming. He said, "I the one speaking to you, I am he."
No matter what we have done in our lives, Jesus seaks us out, and he loves us no matter our social standing. He forgives us, and he will never give up on us. We may walk away from him, but he is always there when we need him. He speaks of the eternal, not the physical. He gives us everything we need, and because of the word in the bible, we will never thirst again.
When the Samaritan woman realized who he was, she ran to tell everybody and everybody in town ran to see The Messiah.

LAST SUNDAY AT CHILDRENS CHURCH:
The children learned another great lesson in Faith from the book of Daniel. That we can trust God in ALL THINGS, and that HE CONTROLS ALL THINGS, even the mouths of a hungry lion, by keeping it shut. Our kids my not face actual hungry lions, but in todays society and world there are many spiritual lions that are opening thier mouths to pollute their minds and thier innocent hearts, and I pray that as the Lord did with the mouth of the Lions in Daniel that He will shut the mouths of todays Lions and that our children thrive and grow in faith to be warriors for Christ and a bright light in our dark world. WHY NOT JOIN US THIS SUNDAY FOR OUR NEXT GREAT ADVENTURE IN GOD’S WORD.

NOTHING ABOUT PRIDE, ALL ABOUT A PROMISE…
This Sunday God’s A.R.M.Y (Annointed, Reigning, Mighty, Youth) Childrens Church started our Summer Sesions off, learning about Noah. How Noah believed and had Faith in God that there was going to be a Flood even though they had never even seen rain before at that time, and Noah’s Faith not only affected his walk with God, but changed the future for his family and even you and I. Unfortunately humans overtime tend to forget the great things the Lord has done, but to help us remember the promise He made to Noah and all Humanity that is willing to receive His Word and His covenant/promise, a reminder for all to see a beautiful rainbow in the sky!

Join us this week at E.C. Children's Church, as we bring God's Word to life for the children to experience the CHALLENGES OF PAUL AND SILAS. Paul and Silas would be challenged with the issue of FINDING THEMSELVES IN A PRISON, for no more than telling others about a man named Jesus. INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING about their situation, they trusted God, rejoiced and PRAISED GOD RIGHT WHERE THEY WERE, and God not only heard their song, but He sent an earthquake that freed them. GOD WILL OPEN UP CLOSED DOORS AND BRING DOWN WALLS IN OUR LIVES TOO, if we would just rejoice and sing His praises no matter where we are in life.

This week at E.C. Children's Church, we bring God's Word to life for the children to experience the challenges of Jonah the Prophet. The story of the Jonah, is very similar to many of us christians today, we have read, studied and know God's word, yet many times we will do opposite of what it says, and that is known as DISOBEDIENCE. Jonah was DISOBEDIENT to the call and plans God had for him and because of that Jonah faced many challenges. Things changed for Jonah when he listened to and did what God had told him to do, and that is known as OBEDIENCE. When we are obedient to God's word and the plans He has for our lives, and place our FAITH and TRUST in Him, God can use us in MIRACULOUS ways and allow us to IMPACT other people around us.

This week at E.C. Kidz Childrens Church we bring God's word to life for the children to experience the challenges the Israelites faced after leaving bo***ge in Egypt. The Israelites where caught in the middle of what looked to be an impossible situation, without any way out. They had a huge sea in front of them and an angry enemy chasing them from behind. What changed the Israelites situation? Things changed when the Israelites placed their FAITH and TRUST in GOD, and God moved in a miraculous way, not only did he provide an exit for them but He also destroyed their enemy. Today, God will do the same for us, if we also place our FAITH and TRUST in Him also.
