In today’s Gospel Jesus says: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” (Jn 14:27).
The peace Jesus gives to us is his peace – not the world’s peace. It is a peace that is in our hearts which no longer need to be be “troubled or afraid.” Our belief in Christ helps us to be peaceful in our hearts knowing his peace is always in some ways with us.
