Heart of Hope Ministries provides basic needs through our Thursday evening Food Pantry; our Clothing Ministry; Youth after-school Mentoring and Tutoring Programs; Jail & Prison Ministries and other financial support to those in need without our community through our Outreach Programs. Our Mission Statement is to be a ministry of Hope & Healing to the Hurting.

Take a close look at these photos. You'll see boxes packed with fresh produce, wholesome bread, and essential proteins. You’ll also see a line of our neighbors waiting outside, relying on this exact support to feed their families.

The reality is that the need in our community is immense. Between January 2025 and June 2026, Heart of Hope Ministries served 7,059 people. That’s thousands of individuals across Rock Island, Moline, Davenport, and beyond who faced a moment of hardship and found an open door.

The Need is Local‼️ We are serving hundreds of families every single month right here in our own neighborhoods.

‼️ Listen to Our Community. See the Impact. ‼️

"I just go for the things that I need. If I don't need it, then I just leave it there."

That is the true spirit of the Quad Cities, neighbors looking out for neighbors.

But right now, the need is growing faster than usual. Following the closure of the Joslin Tyson plant, our pantry has seen a significant influx of families walking through our doors looking for support.

We are urgently seeking financial donations to purchase essential hygiene products, toiletries, and food to care for both the affected workers and our broader community.

Over the last 18 months, our team has poured our hearts into the streets, neighborhoods, and homes of the Quad Cities and more. When we look at this picture, we don't just see 7,059 people served. We see 7,059 moments of connection, 7,059 burdens lightened, and 7,059 reasons why we absolutely love what we do.

When our community is hurting, we show up. 🤝

Many families in our area are facing an incredibly difficult chapter following the Tyson Foods layoffs. At Heart of Hope, we are launching an emergency Food & Toiletry Drive to support these families with essential supplies through Thanksgiving.

We are calling on our incredible community network to help us make this support possible. Every single item donated translates directly into relief for a local family.

Good morning from Heart Of Hope ministries in Rock Island Illinois. It’s a great day. Our food pantry is open today between the hours of 4 and 6 PM and our clothing. Ministry is open between the hours of 3 and 5 PM on our food. Pantry will be serving a variety of items on the first come first serve basis, and while supplies last. Look forward to seeing you this evening and serving you. Also we are always looking for volunteers with servant led hearts throughout the week.
