Generations of women gathered for our Spring Women’s Conference at First Baptist Rock Hill, “For God So Loved,” this past Saturday. Missie Branch delivered a powerful word on what it looks like for us to love God & others well. Carrie Vassey led us beautifully in worship through song. We are so grateful for all that God has done & will continue to do as women live out the gospel that was proclaimed this past Saturday. Thank you to Prater’s Bakery for the delicious pastries & for every volunteer who served at our conference. Ladies, we look forward to our Fall Women’s Conference coming up on Saturday, November 14 called “Cultivate: Discovering Clarity in God’s Design for Women” with Chris Adams & Carrie Vassey. To God be the glory!

💙 MISSIE BRANCH (Speaker): Missie has served as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Graduate Life at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently, she runs a small urban missions organization called MyBLVD. They resource leaders who feel called to communities in dense and diverse contexts. They live in Atlanta where her husband is serving as a pastor. Together, they have four children!

💙 CARRIE VASSEY (Worship Leader): Married to Pastor Brad Vassey and a proud mother to two children, Carrie has dedicated her life to serving the Lord through music and ministry. For the past 10 years, she has faithfully served as the Worship Ministry Leader at Hillcrest Baptist Church in York SC, where she leads with passion and a heart for worship.
