‼️TOWN HALL MEETING 9/9 ‼️

Twin Cities PADS and the City of Sterling are hosting a town hall meeting at the Sterling Township building on Wednesday, September 9th at 6pm. We will share what led to our temporary closure and how we are moving forward toward reopening. Please come ready to discuss how we can come together as a community to serve our most vulnerable residents. Thank you to the many who have already reached out with offers of support!

The time has come for Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church to begin our musical groups. Bell Choir begins this month. If you read music (that would be a great help) and would like to give this group a try, or would like more information about the bell choir, please call the church office or text 815-499-9235.

Thanks be to God for our 2026-2027 Tri Church Confirmation Crew! What a gift to journey with St. John's Lutheran, and St. Paul. We kicked off today at St. Paul Lutheran Church with a trusted adult attending with youth as we encountered God's Word! God knows you and loves y'all!

Welcome beloved child of God Madelynn! Immense congrats to Tanner & Elizabeth Mortonson on raising their kids with love, faith and grace! Such a gift to celebrate the baptism of Madelynn! Special thanks to the Altar Guild for all their service, the quilters for blessing Madelynn with a reminder of God's love and the Lego family for providing dinner for all attendees!

Immanuel will begin rehearsals for our musical groups soon. The Handbell Choir practices on Thursdays, usually 2 before we play at Sunday morning worship services on the 1st Sunday of the month. Our voice choir sings several times during the year with 2 rehearsals prior to performance.
