Acknowledgements:
Thanks to everyone who donated food and baby formula to the Mission last month. Finding the formula with so many purchasing restrictions took a lot of work. Jim and MaryEllen were able to purchase a large quantity at BJ’s in Victor, NY. If you cannot run around looking for deals, we can help. Visit our website (www.RFMission.org) and make donations; we will do the shopping for you.

On Thursday, February 9th, at 12:23 PM, I received an email from 211:

Dear Community Agencies,
During the Pandemic in 2020, to ease the burden on households, an additional payment was added to SNAP benefits averaging about $95. However, now that things are returning to some new normal state, the government has decided to stop these benefits in March.
What does this mean for RFMission?

First, the plea after the holidays has become even more urgent. Second, the need for food items is a 911 call to businesses, organizations, churches, and the Rochester community. Third, you can help by donating food and financial resources to purchase food. Third, we need volunteers to sort and package food. Last, please pray for our board and staff during this time.
