Daily Devotion:
Happy May I Use My Life To Make Others Better Monday! Goood morning Neighbor. Love thy Neighbor as thyself The Lord Commands us. (Matt 22:39) Sound wisdom, understanding and knowledge are wrapped into prosperity that comes from obeying God and applying His love to all those around us. We have friends because we are friendly. (Prov 18:24) We build relationships through sacrificial love. It is wise to help someone in need, for we never know when we will be the one in need. Still even greater, the core of the character of God is that we serve the Lord by giving His blessing and spreading them to those who have not. (Acts 2:25) It is in doing this that we receive more and more (Mal 3:10)... like a siphoned hose, God will continue to fill us stored, shaken to overflowing. (Luk 6:38) We are here to make an impact for God(good) in all the lives around us for Heavens sake. Today, let's not cling to things that are much more valuable when we let them go. It is more blessed to give than to receive! (Act 20:35) God so loves you... Proverbs 3:27-29 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

Daily Devotion:
Happy Fear The Lord to Find You Way Friday! Goood morning Faithful of God! When King David found himself in deep trouble, He understood that sin was the root cause. He prayed hard for His own sins and for that of His nation Israel. He knew the only solution was to look upon the Lord's mercy, forgiveness and guidance. Psalm 25 is one of many examples of David's heartfelt prayers and appeals to God for deliverance. He understood God's great mercy and the need to be put back on track by God! He knew that all begins with the admission that God's Way is the right Way and His authority, love and tender mercies are above all else. Today, may we look to the Lord to wash away sin and it's deathly consequences. Against Him and Him alone have we sinned! (Psalm 51:5) David may he had to go to where the violation had truly occurred and confess to God appealing to His tender nature. He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) God so loves you...gary...Psalms 25:6-8 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

Daily Devotion:
Happy To Be Found In Jesus Thursday! Goood morning dear sons of God! In Luke 15 Jesus explains His mission to save the Lost souls. He leaves the 99 to get the one. His desire is to make known His treasure, His compassion and His restorative power to all who turn from their wicked way and come to Him. Examples are given of lost items, but the greatest is a broken relationship between a Father and His Son. (the prodigal). The son reckoned His Father dead and took his inheritance and left to find happiness elsewhere in darkness and gluten wreckless pleasures. But instead, he found that in the Father the least have abundants and have more than the world. Today, let's see the immeasurable value of Jesus and come to Him. No matter what we've done or how bankrupt we are, He will welcome you back with open arms. The heavens rejoice when even one is saved and restored to God! God's door is always open for a repentant son, God so loves you ...gary...Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Daily Devotion:
Happy Walk Worthy Of The Vocation Wherewith We Were Called Wednesday! Gooood morning Strangers and Pilgrims In Christ. 1 Peter 2 encourages the Royal Priesthood of Christ to walk changed in our purpose. We are a peculiar people, in that we follow God's commands and give honor and reverence to those who rule in this world annoited by God. Our purpose is to be a living epistle of the incredible grace we have received from God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We walk, so others can see His love and humility to order...God's Order! We once were disorderly, yet the Lord has captivated our hearts and brought us into His fold to watch over with tender love and care. They mocked and persecuted Him, yet he respected and blessed them. Today, let's walk worthy of the KING, so that in all we do, God may be glorified. Love even your enemy! God so loves you...gary...1 Peter 2:24-25 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Daily Devotion:
Happy To Turn To Jesus Tuesday! Gooood morning repented in Christ! Proverbs are full of wisdom for a man to live upright with God Almighty! There is a way that seem right to a man but the end there of are ways of death. (Prov 16:25) But..The Lord desires none to perish but all to come to repentance (2 Pet 3:9) He is patient and abounding in mercy, but He will not strive with men forever. God will even punishes the ones He loves! Given this, we should fear God, which is the beginning of wisdom. All sin done in darkness will be found out. (Numbers 32:23) So, we should take hold of God's grace, warning, forgiveness and power and turn from wickedness. Let's soften our hearts, hear and obey God and cut off that vile thing, which seeks to destroy us. God desires to bless us, but sin makes even our prayers an abomination. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleans us of all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) Today, let's turn from the dark and come into the Light of Jesus, so the Lord God may have mercy on our souls and bring healing and prosper our Way. God so loves you!... gary...Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Daily Devotion:
Happy Mortify The Deeds of the Flesh Monday! Goood morning Born of the Spirit! Romans is often used incorrectly to give men an occasion to sin. "There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ!" Yet, Often the second part is skipped... "who walk not after the flesh but I the Spirit". In other words, yes we have sin that dwells within us and in the flesh we have no power over it, but we have been sent a Helper even the Holy Spirit (God) to give is Power, Love and a Sound Mind (Discipline) - to convict men of sin and to give us power to subdue it! Through God we can Mortify the deeds of the flesh. What once ruled over us we now, as the children of God, can rule it! He who is in us is greater than he who is in the World! We have been given grace, but we should NOT use that grace for an occasion to sin. Instead, we should crucify the flesh daily, pick up our cross and walk by faith in the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ! This is active faith and active walking in the Spirit, which "continually" bears witness with our spirit that we are no longer of this world but children of the most High! Today, let's strive to walk in the work of the Holy Spirit and we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Gal 16) Still the law of the flesh is no longer our governor, we are under the Law of liberty in the Holy Spirit! We can walk free from sin and death! God so loves you ... gary...Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Daily Devotion:
Happy Faith In The Father Takes Us Further Than Fear Friday! Goood morning Followers of Jesus. In Matthew 11 Jesus starts by describing the severe battle for body and soul that is taking place on earth. Up to that point throughout history all the messagers of heaven were being killed. It seamed as though God's plan to reach the lost had failed miserably. Still even the greatest Prophet John (the Baptist) was in prison and doomed to be beheaded. He even questioned if Jesus was the ONE who would turn it all around. Little did He know the Kingdom had come down. All was about to change. The WORD of God had arrived and the Light was here to extinguish darkness. Our Creator was visiting His creation. The ways of men and their sinful nature were no match for the devil of this world. Yet God the Father Sent Jesus to Save the weak and lost! To breath life into a dieing people. To bring victory against the carnage and death that had been seen on the battle field! We know the rest of the story. They killed the Son of God too..but this time it was different, He rose again! The cross they used to kill Him, became the bridge for all who seek rest to carry to victory. Jesus says..pick up your cross and follow me..I am yoked with you!! He Is The Way! God so loves the world... gary... Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

✨ INCREDIBLE NEWS & PRAISE TO GOD! ✨

We are overjoyed to announce that Embassy of Christ Bible Church has officially merged with Christian Assembly of Rochester, NY!

For more than 8 years, the Lord has allowed ECBC to faithfully serve the Rochester community. Through Bible studies, discipleship, outreach, prayer, and the preaching of the Gospel, we have seen many come to faith in Jesus Christ, be baptized, and grow in their walk with the Lord.

One ministry especially close to our hearts has been our weekly Bible Study at DePaul at NOTA, where we have faithfully served since the beginning of our church. Through God’s mercy and grace, lives have been touched, hearts changed, and souls encouraged in Christ.

Now, the Lord has opened a new and humbling door before us.

We have been entrusted with the honor and privilege of continuing the work and leadership of Christian Assembly of Rochester, NY, in a place where the Light of Jesus Christ is greatly needed.

πŸ“ New Church Location:
Christian Assembly of Rochester, NY
1165 Lyell Ave
Rochester, NY 14606

πŸ“… Our First Service:
This Sunday at 10:45 AM

We warmly invite everyone β€” longtime ECBC family, friends, visitors, and those searching for hope β€” to come join us as we begin this exciting new chapter together in the service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We believe God is calling us to be:

β€œA City Set on a Hill”

β€œA Hospital for the Soul”

And we take that calling very seriously.

Matthew 9:35–38 (ESV)

Β«β€œAnd Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, β€˜The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.’”»

Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Β«β€œCome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”»

We look forward to serving the Lord together β€” and serving alongside all of you β€” as we continue reaching souls with the love, truth, grace, and hope of Jesus Christ.

With you in His incredible love, grace, mercy, and service,

Pastor Gary

Daily Devotion:
Happy Seek Wisdom Wednesday! Goood morning obedient Children of God the Father! Solomon asked one thing from God..wisdom! Solomon gives us this wisdom passed down to him from God in the Proverbs. Proverbs 4 in particular is the charge to seek to obtain wisdom and knowledge and follow the commands of God. To walk in the Light of God's Words and not to pursue the lusts of darkness, which blinds and destroys life early on this earth. His thrust in the writing is to "stay single hearted"! To dogmatically with a pure and full heart seek God's face always! We are to put Him in the forefront of our mind, in the midst of our heart and ever before us as a guide for our steps. In the same respect, we are told to cut off all evil. To have no fellowship with darkness. Their should be no compromise! (Bad company corrupts good character... 1 Corinthians 15:33) Today, may we hear our Father and obey His instructions for Life. Ask and He will give us wisdom and knowledge abundantly that we may be at peace, rooted and a city on a Hill and a blessing to all who seek Life and Truth. God so loves you ... gary... Proverbs 4:25-27 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
