Our parish is under the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Metropolis of Detroit. The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, with its head

quarters located in the City of New York, is an Eparchy of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople (Istanbul). The parish community was established in the Rochester, NY area in 1904 and built the current church at 962 East Avenue in 1957. The church was constructed in the Neo-Byzantine style of the Cross plan and it houses the city's most complete collection of Byzantine style mosaics and stained glass in the area.
