Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. John the Evangelist Conference The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization of men and women who seek to growth Conferences of the Society of St.

Vincent de Paul were formed at parishes in our diocese to provide a new opportunity for faith communities to serve both individuals and families in need. The “conference” is the local organization of the Society. Our SJE Conference began service to those in need began in May 2011. Members of the Society, called “Vincentians”, provide person-to-person assistance by visiting those in need in their

homes. Our conference meets twice a month on the first and third Thursday evenings for spiritual reflection, discussion and decision-making, and fellowship. There are different categories of membership including active members, associate members, and contributing members.
