The mission of Faith Baptist Church is rooted in three commands given by God to the Church. They are: 1) Love God with all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-40); 2) Teach and train God's people so that they can do the work of the ministry - in order to strengthen the Church and help it grow in Christ-likeness (Ephesians 4:11-13); and 3) The work of the mi

nistry is to: a) encourage people to be followers of Jesus, b) baptize them, and c) teach them to observe God's commandments (Matthew 28:19-20).

Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stop trying to control the outcome. When conflict surrounds us, our efforts to “fix” things can sometimes make them worse. Be still. Let go. Trust the God who is already in control.

Waiting can make us wonder if God has forgotten us or if we've somehow been left behind. But God's timing isn't governed by our clocks, expectations, or sense of urgency. He knows exactly when we need His help, and He will never arrive too early or too late.

The morning will come. The darkness won't last forever. So while you wait, trust the God who sees what you cannot and knows exactly when to act.

The church was never meant to be a place where a few people do the work while everyone else watches from the sidelines.

Following Christ means more than attending a service. God has given every believer a role to play in His church and His mission. It's time to move from the pew to participation, from being a spectator to being a servant.

Don't just watch the church. Be the church.

We often think of sin in categories: big sins and small sins, serious failures and minor mistakes. But even the smallest sin reveals our need for a righteousness we cannot produce ourselves.

The good news is that God doesn't ask us to contribute enough righteousness to earn our salvation. We can't. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, whose perfect righteousness is sufficient for sinners who trust in Him.

You don't need to be good enough. You need Christ.

The world tells us that freedom means doing whatever we want. But what if the freedom we're chasing is actually leading us into bo***ge?

Sin promises satisfaction, independence, and happiness, but ultimately leaves people lost and enslaved to desires that cannot fulfill them.

In Christ, we find something completely different: freedom from sin, a new identity, and the hope of eternal life. Don't envy what the world calls freedom. True freedom is found in belonging to Christ.

The Christian life isn't lived in constant uncertainty about whether God will keep His promises.

Jesus Christ is the foundation of our confidence. When our trust is in Him and His finished work, God gives us His Spirit and empowers us to live as His children.

Our growth may not always look the way we expect, but our hope is secure. The God who saved us is the God who will bring us into the fullness of eternal life.
