ATTENTION ALL PASTORS… and CONGREGATIONS
Maybe it is time to consider that pastors may be in need of a little “alone time” or time away to
‘recharge”? Six months of coping with this pandemic has been hard on everyone and pastors as well
have been ultra-challenged while leading their congregations.
Geneva Center with its 235 wooded acres featuring miles of serene, forested walking trails, its large
walking labyrinth which invokes contemplation and helps individuals center their thoughts, its quiet
pond that promotes reflection, all this …and more…is available to hard-working pastors for a few days &
nights…a private place to ‘unwind’ first, then ‘recharge’ before returning to their challenging role and
responsibilities as a Pastor.
Already several pastors have chosen Geneva Center for a personal retreat…a place of quiet solitude and
a place close to Nature amidst God’s creation. These pastors indicated it really was time away that was
appreciated and much needed. So, we wanted to make all pastors and congregations aware of this
option in case they might be in need of a Pastor’s Respite.
Geneva Center has been untouched by the COVID and has put all cleaning and other protocols in place
to do all it can to assure full compliance and thus safety for our guests. (If a pastor, pastor & spouse or
pastor & family are the only ones in a specific area, social distancing is assured.)

Register now and receive a Camp-in-a-Box, mailed directly to you - complete with an activity guide, craft supplies, and a very cool memento of Camp Quarantine 2020. To guarantee your box will arrived in time for your campfire, register today. All registrants will receive a camp box, regardless of registration date, but it may not arrive until after your campfire date.

CAMPERS, PARENTS & CHURCHES

Summer Camp 2020 is scheduled and all who have been complying with the stay-at-home requirement but, are ready to get out into nature, will be welcomed by an equally excited camp staff.

HOWEVER, in response to the social distancing protocols currently in place, and in anticipation that there could be some restriction on activity stretching into early summer, we have rescheduled all summer camps to the month of July with the hope that we will then be free to offer and enjoy our regular and fulfilling camping program.

The new camp dates are as follows:
2020 Geneva Camp Dates (Revised)
July 6-9 You and Me (4 days) (age 5+ and an adult)
July 6-11 Traditional Middle School (completed gr. 6-8)
Traditional High School (completed gr. 9-12)
C.R.O.S.S. (completed gr. 6-8 and 9-12)
July 13-18 Explorer (completed gr. 4-5)
M.A.D. (completed gr. 6-8 and 9-12)
July 20-22 You and Me (3 days) (age 5+ and an adult)
New Beginnings (3 days) (completed gr. 1-3)

Summer Camp will be held in safe and responsible manner.

Please know that the well-being of our campers and staff is of paramount importance. We are working to ensure we are in compliance with the latest guidance from the CDC on cleaning and hygiene plus will rely on the information and all the recommendations being put forward regarding the ways to be safe and responsible in the summer months ahead. We are continuing to monitor and review all new developments and information put forth by our local, state and federal government officials and health professionals

The Geneva Center facilities have had no visitors since early March, all have been thoroughly cleaned and maintained; and now, the swimming pool, the cabins and the trails are awaiting the sounds of happy children & adults again enjoying God’s creations and our Great Outdoors, all 235 acres of it.

The Summer Camp 2020 staff and volunteers will be screened, trained and ready to provide the same Summer Camp experience everyone has grown to expect at Geneva Center.

Make plans now to register for your favorite Summer Camp session and rest assured, if anything new develops or changes affecting our planned Summer Camp schedule, we will notify everyone quickly.
Pray for our country, our State, the families that have been affected by this health crisis and for safe return to life as we remember it before the crisis. We look forward to seeing you in July at Summer Camp 2020.
