When we are in a time of trouble, it may appear to be something that is just to big to overcome. It maybe just that. We need help. We need more power. Power in the Kingdom comes through prayer and denying of oneself. When the disciples came across an evil that they could not cast out, Jesus told them it would require "much prayer and fasting." Prayer is asking for help. Denying oneself is letting go of your weakness and receiving His power of the Holy Ghost. "Let go and let God!"

MIDWEEK PRAYER REQUESTS
Sorry for this being late. I am having trouble with an update on my phone.
Time for us to come together for a time of prayer for those in need. People pray for those fighting the fight against cancer. Please remember those in need of a touch for strength in hard times. Pray for the lost and backslidden. God wants to here our petitions for ourselves and others.
Pray for our ministry that the Lord has been blessing.

To often believer stop at being saved from their sins and go no further in the Lord. "I ain't going to hell so that's enough for me." These are people who take a book of chocolates and eat the ones they like and leave the rest. Maybe Forrest Gump was right.
They promises beyond forgiveness of sin is not just for you personally, but are Kingdom promises that are about your impact on the Body of Christ.
As a priest over your temple (heart), disciples have a personal contact to God. As a priest we can offer sacrifices that are spiritual like praise to the Lord and prayers for others. This is made possible because our High Priest is Jesus who is with our Father in heaven.
As a king, we share in the spiritual authority and victory of Christ and are called to reign over our sinful nature, our circumstances, and our lives in His earthly Kingdom.
Being a disciple is more than just being forgiven.
