Crossroads Bible Fellowship

Crossroads Bible Fellowship We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ who desire to reflect the life and character of Jesus in the world around us.

We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ who desire to reflect the life and character of Jesus in the world around us as we:

* learn about his ways,
* celebrate his greatness,
* draw on his resources,
* serve one another,
* share in life's struggles and victories, and
* help others discover

the joy of knowing Jesus. We are an independent, non-denominational church. We do not have any official ecclesiastical ties. Instead, we have a heart to serve the Lord in harmony with all other churches who faithfully preach the Word of God and worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Through missions and camp work, we are informally associated with several other churches who share a similar vision and structure to that of CBF.

🧠 The Problem of “Good”
What really makes something good? This thought-provoking article challenges the way we think about goodness — and points us back to the only source of true good: Jesus. 🌟

“I feel drawn to the idea of God, but I don’t think I can get over the reality of things like childhood cancer, spousal abuse, and sexual assault. If God is out there, why is He letting these things happen? If I were driving down the road and saw someone attacking someone, I’d be morally oblig...

💬 Why It’s Good to Be a Needy Person
What if being needy isn’t a weakness, but a doorway to real connection with God? This encouraging read reminds us that dependence on Christ isn’t something to hide — it’s something to embrace! 🙏

Editor’s note: The following article was adapted by the author from his book Pour Out Your Heart: Discovering Joy, Strength, and Intimacy with God through Prayer (pp. 33–41). Pour Out Your Heart is available now from B&H Publishing and wherever books are sold. I don’t watch much TV these days,...

🌟 Know Jesus Like the Disciples Did
Ever wonder what it really looked like to walk with Jesus? This powerful article challenges us to go beyond surface faith and experience Jesus with the same devotion, obedience, and intimacy as the first disciples. 🙌

👉 Dive into a deeper, more transformative relationship with Christ.

How can you love Jesus when you don’t see Him? How can you have a “personal relationship” with someone who is not physically present? When I was younger, I would pray that God would give me a dream where I was a disciple with Jesus. I wanted, just for a night, to be able to walk with Him, talk...

đź’ˇ A Winning Vision for Your Church
Feeling stuck on vision-casting? This powerful article by Dean Inserra reminds us that the real vision for every church isn’t something we have to invent — it’s already laid out in Scripture. ✨ Focus less on clever catchphrases and more on living out the mission Jesus gave His Church through the Great Commission.

👉 “Don’t worry about vision; your church needs to be serious about the Bible.” — A practical, gospel-centered perspective every leader should read.

Editor’s note: This summer, we’re sharing articles aimed at encouraging pastors, ministry leaders, and church members in living and serving in light of Christ’s coming Kingdom. To hear more on this topic from Dean Inserra and other key leaders, register to join us for the 2025 For the Church N...

Carl and Susan were looking for a place where they could learn about faith and God. Someone told them to check out a nearby church. Although hesitant, they decided to try it, and they immediately felt welcome, feeling that this was a place they belonged. Now, they come each week to worship, grow, and extend that same welcome to others. Susan shared, “It’s not just a church: it is family.”

Last year, Steve brought his wife to the ER with pneumonia. As tests began, her oxygen alarm suddenly sounded, triggering a series of increasingly intense interventions. Staff rushed in, increasing her oxygen bit by bit, eventually preparing to intubate. Steve and his wife spent that long, anxious time holding hands, praying, and hoping. Then, all of a sudden, her levels stabilized. The turnaround was swift and unmistakable—Steve knew another hand was at work. “Praying to God, knowing He was there to help and comfort us, made all the difference,” Steve shared. He holds onto the promise of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength,” adding, “It really comes down to the fact that we can’t do anything without Jesus—He’s always there.”
