This week Converge was busy outside with women’s group holding our monthly Saint discussion on St Monica in the courtyard with 🍦🍨 afterwards at Bruster’s. As today marks Tyler’s last day as a Co-leader and last remaining founding leader, we want to thank Tyler for all his years of service to Converge!!!! We can all agree that our ministry would not have reached as many people or grown to be as well respected in the diocese without Tyler’s countless hours behind the scenes, his coffee meet ups with new people, hours setting up and cleaning up after events, having a vast Catholic random fact knowledge, his care for all of us, his connections throughout the diocese and beyond and so much more!! As much as he would deny it, he was the heart 💛 of Converge that kept us going and growing! We wish him all the best in his new career as an aspiring electrician. Although we are sad his departure from Converge was moved up due to a can’t turn down job offer, we know the work he started will continue in Converge!

We had great weather and company this past weekend on our trip to Syracuse! ☀️We met up with two Syracuse young adult groups and also met some from the Utica young adult group. We had a beautiful holy hour ✝️ with them and then a bonfire 🔥 Thanks to the Onondaga Historical Association and Maria for giving us a comprehensive tour through the museum and letting us see some of the behind the scenes.

Throwback to our Founding Father Cookout on July 1st! 🇺🇸🗽🏈🔥

This year's Cookout was our largest Converge event EVER, with over 103 Young Adults in attendance! 🤯💯

The extreme heat may have pushed us inside, but we still got to take advantage of the awesome food and fellowship! Shoutout to our amazing cooks who braved a brief rainstorm to ensure the last batch of burgers made it through! Despite the weather, a large group was still able to play tug of war, pray the rosary, and play a game of kickball!

Special thanks to St. Joseph's for hosting us and the volunteers who helped make it happen!

What a joy to have such beautiful weather for our day trip to Watkins Glen this past weekend! ☀️🙌🥾🏎️

We enjoyed hiking along the gorge, visiting to local festival, watching the “cardboard boat race,” and attending Mass and meals together!

We look forward to our next trip to Canandaigua in July!
