Longtime Irondequoit pastor Father Robert C. Bradler, who also served for more than four decades as director of the diocesan Society for the Propagation of the Faith, died Thursday, June 11, 2026. He was 91.

Inviting neighbors to check out St. Monica Church was easy and fun at this year’s busy 19th Ward Square Fair! Young and old stopped to see our parish photos and hear about our June 28 concert and VBS, but the most popular attraction by far was our spinning prize wheel! Now it’s our challenge to welcome those invited guests when they show up in church. Thank you to Diane Dinkins-Lourette, JoAnn DeMott, Amy Taylor, John DeMott, and Deacon Brian McNulty for staffing the St. Monica booth and living out our mission statement! ❤️✨️

Prepare to be in your feels... these four amazing people are graduating high school! They have given so much to St. Monica's and Emmanuel Church of the Deaf by being a part of it. You can see that the roots run deep, as does our love for them! Emmanuel, Tim, Marley, and Aniya, you have blessed us by being part of St. Monica's and ECD. A big congratulations to Marley Knapp and Emmanuel Torres, two of our youth group members who are receiving the Urban League of Rochester's Black Scholars award! They are receiving this award because they achieved and maintained a B average of better (83% and up) throughout high school.

The Urban League of Rochester Black Scholars program provides academic recognition, college readiness assistance, and scholarship incentives to these students. They will be recognized at the 46th annual Black Scholars ceremony.

What an amazing accomplishment! Prayers to Emmanuel and Marley also as they graduate this Saturday from . ❤️🙏🏾
