St. Monica Church Mass Times: Sat. 4PM, Sun. 10:15AM, Sun.11:30AM (ECD -voice interpreted) Come and see what we're all about! Saturday Mass is at 4pm, Sunday Mass at 9am.

We are a vibrant and welcoming Roman Catholic parish located in an urban setting in Rochester's 19th Ward. Emmanuel Church of the Deaf worships at 11am each Sunday.

We will celebrate the diverse musical gifts of St. Monica Church and friends, featuring St. Monica's Gospel Choir, Marvin Rogers, Nate Rawls Community Jazz Band, string ensembles, and special guests!

A refreshment reception follows the concert. Free will offerings accepted.

The annual Genesee Street Youth Flower Planting Project was hosted at St. Monica Church on Saturday, May 30. Father Ray Fleming led a prayer before youth teams from Genesee Street schools & churches went out to fill the street's 62 curbside concrete planters with bright flowers. 25 St. Monica youth will journey to Camp Stella Maris this summer for a week of unforgettable fun! Your generosity has allowed our St. Monica youth to attend Camp Stella Maris over the last several years, yielding life-changing experiences and opportunities. This year at CSM, they get to see Emmanuel Torres, youth group participant and parishioner who was hired as a camp counselor! Kids will also get to see Fr. Ray, who will celebrate Mass twice over the summer. We need your help to ensure that kids have all the camp supplies they need for the week! Pentecost is considered the birthday of the church, so what better day to celebrate two milestone staff birthdays?🎉🎂

On June 5th, Fr. Ray turns 75, and on June 8th, Mary Ellen turns 80! On Pentecost Sunday when all three parishes were together to celebrate, we surprised these beloved staff members with this birthday celebration in addition to our Pentecost festivities. Their birthday blessing was carried out by our communities ❤️

Mary Ellen and Fr. Ray, God has blessed you with gifts to minister to others. We bless you now with wishes for your birthday.

We wish for you joy in knowing the love of the Lord in your lives.

We wish for you happiness when you look back on the years of memories.
