Mothers In Need of Others (MINO)

Mothers In Need of Others (MINO) We are now the Health and Wellness Program of Foodlink. MINO's mission is to be the first rung on the ladder out of poverty for families in crisis.

Permanently closed.

In this new program, we will distribute baby items, cleaning supplies, and feminine and personal hygiene products to Foodlink members for the individuals they serve. We aim to alleviate stress by providing basic necessities, thus giving parents time and space to start planning for tomorrow.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank the MANY people who have supported MINO all these years!
Thank you Project URGE for your leadership, encouragement, and support.
Thank you to all of our faithful donors. Your gifts were such a blessing to Mothers In Need of Others in times of crisis.
Thank you to our volunteers who selflessly gave their time stocking shelves and packing supplies for moms and babies. The mission brought us together, our time spent in service of others created a family!
Thank you to the hundreds of case managers we have worked with over the past two decades! Individuals who braved snowstorms and torrential downpours to pick up supplies for the families you serve. You are a gift to this community!
You have all been a gift to me and to Mothers In Need of Others!
I pray that the blessing you have been to others will be returned to you tenfold this holiday season!

Peace and Joy!

Today, was the last official day operating as MINO. MINO is now fully integrated into Foodlink under the name of the Health and Wellness Program which is slated to begin in January.

As such, the first step is to offer agencies that frequently utilized MINO's services, the opportunity to become members of Foodlink's new Health and Wellness Program. As members of this new program, they would be able to access baby care items, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products on the online shopping list.

If your agency has been receiving supplies from MINO and you are interested in applying to become a member to continue receiving these types of products, please email Maria Wehrle directly at [email protected] to request an application.
