Due to the impending storm, Sunday worship services at Salem are cancelled. (All groups that use the bldg have cancelled). The Annual Congregational Meeting is postponed to 2/1. THE SALEM NUTRITION CENTER WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY 1/26 Stay safe and warm!!

Bit of a long read, but feel good moment for me and for Salem United Church of Christ....I went down to shovel out church today so I didn't have to do it tomorrow morning before service. As I was shoveling, a previously homeless man, who has been a fixture in Salem's life for over a year showed up and helped. When I thanked him, he said "Of course! I wanna help. You guys SAVED me." 🥲 We may not have all the answers, or do everything right, but I thank God for putting us in Rico's path when he needed us!!
