Stripes and Smiles Summer Childcare Program
Rochester Community School Corporation will be offering a summer child care program for any current PK-4th grade student enrolled in our corporation. Our program will work in conjunction with the city park program, so students can do both or just one. If they choose to do both, RCSC will provide transportation from one program to the other. Breakfast and lunch will be served at no charge to those enrolled in the program. We plan to take trips over the summer and utilize local resources (pool, local parks, theater, library, trails, etc.). Childcare services will be provided Monday-Friday, June 1st through July 31st (Childcare will be closed on July 3rd). Students would need to be dropped off and picked up. Times will be from 6:30am - 5:30pm. Cost will be $175 per week for the first child, $75 for an additional child, and $50 a week for a third child. If your child is attending the parks program as well, you will receive a $25 discount. If you have 3 kids in the parks program you would receive a $50 discount. Discounts are only for weeks that the parks program is in session. We are starting registration NOW and it will close on APRIL 17th. There will be a $50 deposit needed to hold your child's slot and your first weeks pay will need to be paid in full before the start of the summer. Childcare will need to be paid a week in advance throughout the summer. If you have multiple kids you need to enroll, please just fill out and submit this for each child.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to [email protected]

✨ Giving Tuesday: Stand With Our Neighbors in Need ✨

As we enter a season centered on gratitude, hope, and caring for one another, United Ministries is inviting our community to make a meaningful impact this Giving Tuesday.

Your generosity helps provide immediate assistance with rent and utilities for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. Keeping someone warm, safe, and housed isn’t just a need — it’s an act of compassion that speaks to the best in all of us.

Rooted in our faith, we believe in showing love through action. And we welcome everyone — believers, seekers, and big-hearted neighbors alike — to join us in this mission of kindness.

Every contribution becomes a lifeline and a reminder that no one walks through hardship alone.

💛 Give. Share. Care.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, our hearts are full of gratitude. 💛

To our incredible community: thank you for showing up for your neighbors in every way, from financial gifts to the food and household items you donate so generously. Every contribution strengthens the safety net so many rely on, and we couldn’t do this work without you.

To our board members and volunteers: you’re the steady hands and compassionate hearts behind everything United Ministries accomplishes. Your commitment keeps our pantry shelves stocked, our programs running, and our mission alive.

And to our clients: thank you for trusting us. It’s an honor to walk alongside you, support you, and be part of your story when life gets challenging. Your courage is at the center of why we do what we do.

From all of us at United Ministries, we wish you a warm, safe, and hopeful Thanksgiving. 🧡

Together, we make this community stronger.
