Pastor Ken Zahringer First built on this site in 1844, the building was demolished and rebuilt in 1901.

Caring and serving for more than 150 years, the Rocheport United Methodist Church began as an interfaith prayer group, the first religious organization in the town of Rocheport. Bricks from the old church and the old handmade pews were used. The original bell was installed. Today the church serves families and friends in Rocheport and surrounding areas as well as many visitors. Wedding parties also enjoy this quaint rural church. Come to our strawberry shortcake fundraiser on Saturday, June 13, from 12:30 until 3:00 - or until we run out! We’ll be in the front yard of RUMC, at 202 Columbia Street. All donations will be used for United Women in Faith mission projects. Serving strawberries, shortcake, ice cream, and toppings - yum yum! 😋

Our friend, Ted Green, passed away on May 6. There will be a Celebration of Life for Ted this Sunday, May 24, at 2:30 at the Rocheport United Methodist Church.
