Ask yourself this question: When people interact with you, do they see someone who looks like Jesus, or someone who looks like the world and culture around them? We are called to love all people, but to point them to the one who has saved us from the depths of our sins. Our understanding of love and humility must come from God's word and not the broken world around us. Jesus didn't show us His love and sacrifice so we could simply bask in His grace. His sacrificial love, compassion, and grace are to flow through us to the world that so desperately needs Him.
