📅 THIS WEEK’S MOBILE FOOD DISTRIBUTION SCHEDULE 💙

This week, we will only have TWO mobile food distributions available, so if you or someone you know is in need of food assistance, we encourage you to make plans to attend one of these locations:

🚚 Tuesday📍 Renew Church6509 Bosque Blvd, Waco⏰ 3PM – 4PM

🚚 Thursday📍 Christ The King Baptist Church4777 Lake Shore Drive, Waco⏰ 3PM – 4PM

There will be NO distributions on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday this week.

💙 GOOD NEWS! 💙Our pantry in Bellmead will remain OPEN during normal hours:

We extend our gratitude to the Sisters of Strength who participated in the Queen's and Kings of the Court Photo Shoot event at Retama Rehab and Rehabilitation Nursing Home. The community service event was filled with joy and warmth as we brought God's Love to the residents through service and companionship, providing beauty services such as hair and makeup, along with love and laughter. We look forward to sharing the outstanding pictures that were taken. We will post them as soon as they are available..

A huge thank you to all who served and volunteered at the Mobile Food Distribution this morning. Your contributions were instrumental, and this event would not have been possible without ❤️you. We appreciate your servant-hearted attitude and commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The event allowed us to share God's Love, pray with our community and friends, and provide service to over 200 families. We are grateful to Jesus for the chance to serve one another and intercede for others.❤️ and a special thank you to Pastor Raul for his support and leadership.

Thank you Jesus for tonight’s meeting. And Thank you to all the sisters of strength who were able to attend the calendar meeting for May. Your participation in calendar meetings,outreach projects and service in the food pantry is truly appreciated. If you were unable to attend tonight’s meeting you were missed ❤️. We will be sending out all community outreach protects. So be on the lookout for a text . I pray that as we go through the week, we are reminded of Colossians 2:6-7 Therefore as you received Christ Jesus the Lord. So walk in him rooted and built up in him and established in the faith just as you were taught abounding in thanksgiving . Love you ladies.

Some of us were taught that being a “good Christian” meant always being available, always saying yes, always putting others first… no matter the cost.

But over time, that kind of thinking doesn’t produce fruit.🍓🫐

It produces …
exhaustion,
resentment,
and confusion.

Because love without wisdom will always leave you vulnerable to being drained.

Jesus said to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Not just gentle. Not just kind. But wise.

That means you don’t ignore red flags.🚩
You don’t override discernment.
You don’t keep giving where God is clearly asking you to guard.

It’s okay to love people from a distance.
It’s okay to say, “This is not healthy for me.”
It’s okay to choose peace over constant access.

You are not called to be walked over, you are called to walk in truth.🙌🏻

And truth says this:
Love does not require you to lose yourself.

God is not asking you to harden your heart, He’s asking you to protect it. There’s a difference. A hardened heart shuts people out, but a guarded heart invites God in first.♥️ And when He leads your boundaries, they won’t be rooted in fear…they’ll be rooted in wisdom, peace, and purpose.

🙏🏻Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for calling me to a life of love and truth. Thank You that Your Word gives me wisdom for every situation I face. Lord, I confess that there are times I have ignored discernment just to keep the peace or avoid conflict. I have allowed myself to be stretched thin in ways You never intended. Teach me to walk in both love and wisdom. Help me to recognize when something is not healthy, even if it looks good on the surface. Give me the courage to step back when needed and the strength to stand firm in truth. Guard my heart, Lord. Protect my mind from confusion and my spirit from exhaustion. Remind me that boundaries are not rejection, they are protection. Help me to trust You with relationships, knowing that what is meant for me will not require me to abandon Your wisdom. Fill me with peace as I learn to walk in discernment. Lord, shape my heart to reflect Yours, compassionate, but wise… loving, but strong. I surrender my relationships to You. Lead me in every step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You can have a soft heart and strong boundaries. God calls you to love, but also to discern. Wisdom will protect what love pours out.
