Both Paul and Nancy had doctor appointments today and we wanted to give an update for them!

Nancy was cleared by the orthopedic surgeon to start putting weight on the left foot. She is finally able to make small steps to strengthen that foot! Today she walked 5 feet and we thank the Lord that she was able to go that far!
She has not been able to walk since the accident and honestly she didn’t know if and when she would be able to ambulate on that left foot. We are rejoicing over this news! The X-ray report continues to show “healing at the fractured site”. What an answer to prayer!

Paul has been making strides forward as well! He walked 125 feet today… Pain free and was able to stand for 11 minutes! Praise the Lord!

We are reminded of the phrase "Don't tell God how big your problem is, tell your problem how big your God is”.
A month ago things were a lot different and there were so many unknowns.
Satan has whispered his doubts many times but God’s word speaks louder. God has proven over and over that even in the valley God is good. Even in the valley He is faithful and true! He carries His children through like He said He would, even in the valley God is good.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Paul and Nancy. Nancy told us the verse she has been holding onto is
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

Update on our Pastor and wife Paul and Nancy.

God is healing! We are encouraged at how well they have both have come in physical therapy. Last week Paul walked 15 feet and today he walked 35 feet with no pain. What a miracle!!

Nancy had a follow up appointment on Friday with her orthopedic surgeon and he did a repeat x-ray on her left foot/ankle. The report shows increased healing changes! Praise the Lord!!

You can’t walk out of their room without being encouraged with how good our God is. Nancy was saying tonight they have had so many God moments and how God has showed them His love time after time.
We have a Heavenly Father who cares about every detail of our lives and is a present help.

Happy Christmas Eve!

Paul and Nancy arrived at Amber Manor in Petersburg, IN yesterday! Paul spoke with Mark yesterday and he said the room they are in was nice and he feels like this facility is a good fit for them!
We are so thankful for guidance through this transfer progress.
Amber Manor has a good Physical Therapy program and we are excited to watch them progress in their mobility.

Sunday Evening update:

We wanted to give you a quick update on Paul and Nancy this Sunday evening. Today has been a day filled with hope and we are praising the Lord for what He has done today.
Paul had his best day yet since the accident. He was able to stand up from the bed and then walked with the walker to the wheelchair! The best news of all he was pain free!! Paul was so excited and he called his brother Mark to tell him the good news. God is healing and touching Paul and Nancy. Your prayers are being heard and we are so thankful for every one of your prayers.

Update on Paul and Nancy this week.

Both Paul and Nancy had doctor appointments yesterday.
Paul was cleared from his cast and he is able to use his left hand for normal daily activities. This is such an answer to prayer because he will now be able to use his left hand to steady himself while using the walker.
Walking is still a challenge for Paul due to the pelvic fractures/rods however everyday he is getting stronger and we thank the Lord for that!

Nancy is still non-weight bearing on the left foot and this has been a challenge with trying to ambulate. Please continue to pray that her foot will regain some range of motion. The doctor said that the X-ray shows some improvement which we are very thankful for. She has a long road ahead in recovery but she gives it all she has during physical therapy and we are trusting God with the rest.

Thank you all who have given of your time in prayer and your resources for Paul and Nancy. They are so appreciative of the love that they are received.

We look forward to this time tomorrow night at 7:00 EST. We would be happy to have you join us.

Thank you so much to those who have given so far! We truly appreciate all that has been done.

We started this giving campaign with an estimate of a needed amount, but after some discussion with those close to the situation, it appears that the expenses not covered by insurance may far exceed even that initial goal.

So, how can you help?

#1. Pray! The days ahead are very long. Paul and Nancy will need much strength from the Lord while also dealing with the financial side of things.

#2. Share this link with anyone you know who may want to give. As referenced before, the Grays have spent their lives in service to thousands across the nation, and most importantly in the service of the King.

#3. If you are able, any amount given will help. We certainly have no desire to put pressure on anyone, but if you have been looking for a cause to help, this is a great need.

Thank you again to all who have already prayed, shared, and given, and to all who will be doing so now.

The Grays have lived their lives in service to God and others through pastoring, evangelism, singing, and being a blessing wherever they go. Now they find th...

Update: 12/08/25

Paul and Nancy have both been accepted and admitted to Encompass rehab. The rehab unit is at the same hospital that they have been just a different part of the hospital.
We are so excited that they both were able to stay together and do rehab at the same place!
The next few weeks will be challenging as they both relearn how to ambulate and be independent again. Pray that God will continue to give them both strength so that they can soon come back to Palestine to all of us! We know it will be a challenging road ahead but we know that God will be with them. It was by God’s strength that they have made it this far and we know He will be with them for the next chapter of the recovery.

Update: 12/5/25

Nancy came through her surgery last evening. The orthopedic surgeon wasn’t thrilled by what he saw with her ankle. He was able to put a rod from the heel into the calf area to stabilize the ankle but he was disappointed with what he had to work with and time will tell how the outcome will be for Nancy’s ankle and foot.
Please continue to pray! We believe and know that God can change Nancy’s outcome if He wills.

Paul had a good time of physically therapy!
He was able to use a walker and walk 2 feet! He is still in quite a bit of pain so please continue to pray for strength.

We are continually grateful that God spared Paul and Nancy’s lives and allowed us to have them here on earth longer. God is so good.

Update: 12/3

Nancy finally got a room and it’s at the same hospital that Paul is at. After 8 days of not being able to see each other (except on FaceTime) Paul and Nancy will finally be able to see each other. We are so thankful that God opened the door that Nancy could get into this hospital and we are trusting Him for the next steps for Nancy’s leg.

We are unsure of when her surgery will be but we will keep everyone posted.

Thank you for your prayers. Please keep the prayers coming!

Update: 12/2/25

Both Brother Paul and Sister Nancy had Physical therapy and Occupational therapy and they have been doing really well with both the therapies. It’s so encouraging to hear how God is giving them strength to press on. Sister Nancy has not been transferred yet and we are just waiting on a room to become available so that she can receive the surgery that she needs on her foot.
Trusting God’s perfect timing as we wait.

Thank you again for all of the messages, flowers that have been sent and the cards that you have written. Most of all thank you for the prayers that you have prayed for our wonderful Pastor and Wife. We know that they wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the hand of God on their life.
