Our church is so blessed to have Steve and Tracy Stratton and their family as our assistant pastor and family. Today our church celebrated their 25th year serving in this capacity. We so appreciate their steadiness, the servant's heart that they show to all, and consistency through the many different seasons of life. We enjoyed music from James and Angela Lilly and Mamie Powell, Josh Ranke, and a sermon from a previous assistant pastor, Jim Terry, on commitment. Then the church gathered for a wonderful dinner and time of fellowship. To all of our visitors today, we loved having you with us and welcome you back any time!

We are so thankful that God has touched enough that the Grays could make it back to church on Sunday! Four months without them has been a long time and we are so thankful to have them back. I know they still appreciate much prayer as they continue to improve.

This update speaks for itself. Paul and Nancy Gray are slowly continuing to improve, and still being a blessing wherever they are.

Both Paul and Nancy had doctor appointments today and we wanted to give an update for them!

Nancy was cleared by the orthopedic surgeon to start putting weight on the left foot. She is finally able to make small steps to strengthen that foot! Today she walked 5 feet and we thank the Lord that she was able to go that far!
She has not been able to walk since the accident and honestly she didn’t know if and when she would be able to ambulate on that left foot. We are rejoicing over this news! The X-ray report continues to show “healing at the fractured site”. What an answer to prayer!

Paul has been making strides forward as well! He walked 125 feet today… Pain free and was able to stand for 11 minutes! Praise the Lord!

We are reminded of the phrase "Don't tell God how big your problem is, tell your problem how big your God is”.
A month ago things were a lot different and there were so many unknowns.
Satan has whispered his doubts many times but God’s word speaks louder. God has proven over and over that even in the valley God is good. Even in the valley He is faithful and true! He carries His children through like He said He would, even in the valley God is good.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Paul and Nancy. Nancy told us the verse she has been holding onto is
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
