Here is the latest from The Clark's in Honduras!
Please be in prayer for us. We know that God is doing great things and about to do even greater things. We know this because the season of battles is a constant reminder that breakthrough is coming.
For now (and honestly, every single day) we need our prayer warriors surrounding us.
It's been weeks of Jason being hit the hardest with physical illness that kept seeming to get much worse before getting better; it's been unbearable. From a spider bite on the face, then staph that we had to watch closely from getting to his brain, then a virus later to follow with days of fever because his body was so weak from the medication rounds he already had to have. All this with a man who never gets sick! We are so thankful for amazing missionary doctors nearby that helped!
After weeks of praying constantly and keeping a close eye on him, Jason is finally on the other side of it- PRAISE GOD!!!
It's also been weeks without electricity for us. We've had many sleepless nights in the hot humid temperatures without power to run anything to stay cool. No electricity also brought unplanned expenses for trips to get gas so we can turn on the generator for periods in the day. This provides us a chance to get water by running our water pump that fills the water tank every other morning, also keeping our groceries cool, staying cool and charging our devices. These gas runs included driving sick in very high temperatures in the heat of the day with no ac. It was hard to tell between his fever or just the heat. Along with all the many hot sleepless nights, needless to say, that each of us has been a bit off being exhausted. We are praying hard for the electricity to get sorted out and turned back on. We also have had unexpected Honduran residency matters.
We do try hard to stay positive and not think too much about the hard stuff. But it's been a long long past few weeks. We need our Aarons right now. When it all happens at once (while already living a life far away that can be filled with it's own difficulties), we do need to reach out and ask for your prayers. Our need is STRENGTH. We do have faith. We do know the truth. We do trust. We are just in a brief moment.
But now you know how to pray for us!!
We are certain of the victory on the otherside of these attacks. We just had an amazing rodeo bringing the gospel to every attendee, worshipping and teaching family truths & fun to the hundreds who came. When you see that kind of movement happen, the enemy tries to discourage you. We all know better though!
We are believing His glorious hand will move so mightily, so quickly and we will look back at this and smile very soon. In the meantime, please pray with us.
