HELP US MAKE A CHILD SMILE THIS CHRISTMAS!

This holiday season, Word of God Tabernacle is coming together with your help to be a blessing to children and families who may not otherwise have gifts to open on Christmas morning.

We are asking our church family, friends, and community to partner with us as we work toward our goal of collecting AT LEAST 100 TOYS OR $1,000 IN FINANCIAL DONATIONS! 🙌🏽

👶🏽🧒🏽 Toys are needed for all ages, from babies to teenagers.

❤️ HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE RUTHERFORDS! ❤️

What an amazing couple! 🥂🎉 Not only are they incredible people who can COOK THEIR BUTTS OFF 😂🙌🏽, but they are also a beautiful example of God’s grace and goodness.

She is truly a mighty woman of God, an intercessor to her core, and a woman who knows how to stand in the gap! 🙏🏽🔥 Her husband is such a humble man, yet carries so much wisdom. There is something beautiful about a couple who can walk in humility, strength, and purpose together.

May God continue to bless your union, strengthen your love, and allow your marriage to be a testimony of His faithfulness for many more years to come. ❤️

THE HOLY SPIRIT TAKE OVER!

Today, God touched minds, healed hearts, and moved in a way that words can hardly explain. But what touched me most was seeing the young men who came to worship with us. Some of these young men were impacted by the Dooly County mass shooting just last weekend. Yet, they walked into the house of God, and some walked out having surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. THEY CAME IN ONE WAY, BUT LEFT WITH A PEACE THAT ONLY GOD CAN GIVE! 😭🙌🏽

Lord, COVER OUR CHILDREN! Cover their minds, their hearts, their futures, and their purpose. Raise them up, Lord! Raise up a standard! Raise up a generation that will stand in the gap, walk in authority, and go into the enemy’s camp not in our own strength, but through the power and authority You have given us through Jesus Christ!

And for the children who don’t know how to pray for themselves, LET US PRAY FOR THEM! For the children who don’t have anyone speaking life over them, LET US SPEAK LIFE! For the children in our neighborhoods, around the corners, in our schools, and in our communities, LET US SHOW UP! They may not be our biological children, but they are STILL OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LOVE, COVER, AND INTERCEDE FOR!

WE ARE IN A WAR FOR THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF OUR CHILDREN, BUT WE WILL NOT FIGHT AS THOSE WITHOUT HOPE! The Word of God declares that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). No matter what we see happening around us, we must stand firmly on the foundation of Jesus Christ!

Church, it is time to get back to the altar. It is time to cover our children in prayer, teach them the Word, love them intentionally, and stop assuming that somebody else will do it. We cannot afford to be silent while our children are hurting.

WE WILL PRAY. WE WILL STAND. WE WILL LOVE. WE WILL INTERCEDE. AND WE WILL NOT GIVE UP ON THIS GENERATION!

The enemy does not get the final say over our children. Their lives have purpose, their futures matter, and there is still hope in Jesus!

“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19 (KJV)

LORD, RAISE UP A STANDARD! START WITH US! IN JESUS’ NAME, AMEN!
