Have you ever wanted to follow God fully, but your attention keeps getting pulled in ten directions? When King Josiah heard the Word, he didn’t shrug it off—he acted. 2 Kings 23:25 says he turned to the Lord with all his heart, and he cleared away what competed for worship. Jesus puts it simply in Matthew 6:21: where your treasure is, your heart will be also. What has been taking first place in yours? You don’t have to tear everything down in your own strength. Ask God to show you one small step of obedience today, and trust that He meets you with mercy as you walk it out. His presence is steady, and His faithfulness can rebuild your heart into a place of true worship.
