Join us this Saturday at 1:00 pm as we continue the topic The Approach - Making Godly Decisions. We have a great couple joining us as we talk about making Godly decisions. Whether you are single or married, when you approach your spouse or someone you're dating, you should always be looking to make a Godly decision. The Merediths have been married for over two decades and I'm sure (positive) Godly decisions had to be made to sustain a successful marriage because they had to get to know each other first. This Saturday at 10:00 a.m. we will continue the discussion on the myth in Sowing Wild Oats in the series Single is Good, Marriage is Great. Intimacy, what we call s*x in today’s language, was originally for production/creation. In today’s time, we use it as recreation. God has given us….all things to enjoy - 1 Timothy 6:17 But, this particular enjoyment was meant for married couples. It’s rarely discussed about the dangers of having s*x before marriage because we like it and it’s hard to change a person’s mind when they’re used to something they like. Romans 8:1-2 quotes: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Notice, these last few words: “that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Good, acceptable and perfect. What we would consider good, is it good, and acceptable and perfect unto God. Join us.
