Dear God,
Help me to be an imitator of You in every area of my life. Let my heart overflow with love, patience, and kindness so that others see Christ in me. Shape my thoughts and actions to reflect Your goodness and truth. “Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children, and walk in love, as Christ also loved us.” (Ephesians 5:1-2)

Help me to walk in love and bear the fruit of the Spirit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Make me holy as You are holy, set apart for Your purpose. May my life reflect Your character and bring glory to Your name today.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a BLESSED Annual Men’s & Women’s Day!

Great Hope MB Church would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Rev. Justin Norwood for blessing us with a powerful and timely word from 1 Samuel 30:1–6 “Sometimes You Have To Encourage Yourself.”

Rev. Norwood, thank you for reminding us that even when life becomes difficult, when we feel discouraged, and when we don’t have anyone else to lean on, we can find strength in God and encourage ourselves in the Lord! 🙏🏾

Your presence, your spirit, and the Word you shared truly blessed our church family. We are grateful for your obedience to God and for allowing Him to use you to pour into us.

To everyone who helped make our Annual Men’s & Women’s Day a success, THANK YOU! Your love, service, fellowship, and support made this day special.

“David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6

❤️🖤Sometimes you have to encourage yourself… but you never have to do it without God! 🙏🏾
