Masjid An-Nur Masjid An-Nur is located in Roanoke, Virginia USA and is a place of worship and calls to the Qur'aan and the authentic Sunnah . All are welcome to attend.

Masjid An-Nur is very active in promoting the correct call to Al-Islam. The current Imaam is Abu Ismail Ibrahim Al-Kooree. Classes are held on a regular daily basis in the areas of Correct creed, methodology and Islamic jurisprudence. Jumuah services are every Friday at 1:30 pm. Classes are currently broadcast on mixlr.com/masjid-an-nur .

With the financial difficulty families faced this pandemic many can't afford Thobes for Eid. Contact Khaleel by Monday for those that NEED it May Allaah reward our brothers who made this possible. We will also have Thobes, Koofees and oil for sale after Jumuah, all proceeds for the Masjid.

1. The end of social- distancing in the masjid

2. The end to temperature checks

3. The end to the two Jumu'ah service format

4. The end to restroom restrictions

- Masks are still required

🌙'Eed Announcement 🌙
Due to the COVID-19 Executive Order 72 issued by the Governor of Virginia, and after study of several scenarios by which we hoped to hold the 'Eed Prayer that either violated the order or were logistically impractical, we regrettably inform the Masjid An-Nur community that the Masjid will not be holding the 'Eed al-Fitr Prayer & Sermon this year. We understand how disappointing the situation is, and we ask Allaah to facilitate for us the gathering of 'Eed al-Adhaa. For info on praying at home, please text the Imaam @ 540-354-1558.
