Still room at the table.

A few seats are open in preschool and kindergarten, and small classes are exactly what makes joining a few weeks in feel easy instead of awkward. Your child gets noticed on day one. The teacher learns their name, their quirks, and what makes them light up, usually before the first week is out. No one disappears into a crowd here.

Today we rest, and we give thanks for work.

Scripture tells us that whatever we do, we work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord. That is true of the parent on a job site at sunrise, the nurse finishing a night shift, and the teacher who stayed late to get a classroom ready for twenty small people.

Labor Day is a good day to notice all of it. Enjoy the extra morning with your family. We will see you back on Tuesday.

We spent a year telling you what our kindergarten would be. This school year, our inaugural class answered the question for us.

They are in the building. They are learning to read, learning to pray, and learning what it feels like to belong somewhere.

There is only so much a post can show you. Walk the hallway, meet the teacher, watch a morning happen. That is where the decision usually gets made.

✂️ Two Ribbon Cuttings. One Incredible Week. ✂️

What a special week for our St. Peter community! We had the joy of celebrating two ribbon cuttings for St. Peter Christian School—first with our church family (also celebrating its 20th anniversary!) and with the public and our surrounding community.

Our school exists to partner with families in cultivating Scholars, Servants, and Saints—providing an education grounded in faith, academic excellence, and a heart for serving others.

Thank you to our church family, Texas District Church Extension Fund (TX CEF), community leaders from Town of Northlake, Texas, Municipal Government and Metroport Chamber, FDC Builders, friends, and everyone who celebrated with us. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the days ahead!

The ribbon may be cut, but the journey continues. ✨

You are invited to celebrate an exciting new chapter for St. Peter Christian School! ✂️🎉

Join us and the Metroport Chamber for the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of our new school building. This expansion will allow us to grow our preschool program and welcome students to our new Christian elementary school for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Come tour the new facility, meet our leadership team, and help us celebrate this important milestone for our school and community.
