Our final Lemonade on the Lawn for the season was held today. Many thanks to the hands who prepared the lemonade and delicious desserts we enjoyed all summer long! We'll transition to a time of fellowship with coffee and treats in the Ramp Room for the fall and winter months. We hope to see you there next week!

Likely the most recognizable and performed hymn in the world, "Amazing Grace" is the story of the writer's redemption from a life of sin by the grace of God. We all are sinners, falling short of the example of Christ, but we are delivered by this same, abundant grace when we turn our lives over to Him. What a powerful and amazing thing that is!

Our lives are so busy, filled with work, chores, and errands, and we often occupy what little spare time we have catching up on correspondence and the latest social media.

While work is an honorable thing, God shows us, by His own example, that a day of rest is also necessary. What better way to spend that time than to take in His glorious creation with those we love? It's in these times that we often find ourselves closest to Him. What we tend to take for granted - the simple things in life - can be the most profound. Take time to recognize His miracles all around you!

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." (James 1:17)
