Dear Pastors and Ministry Staff,

You are warmly invited to join us for a Roanoke Valley Baptist Association Pastors and Staff Lunch on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Oakland Baptist Church.

This will be a great time for fellowship, encouragement, and connecting with one another as ministry leaders across our association.

During our lunch, representatives from the Blue Ridge Women’s Center will be sharing about their ministry, the impact they are making in our community, and ways our churches can partner with them to support life and families.

2. Helping plant new ministries such as churches or small groups.

Belmont Baptist Church is donating chairs and other items to Hope Valley Church as they continue working to Replant Big Spring Baptist Church in Elliston, VA. We need to continue to work together to reach people in our area with the Gospel message.

Come learn about a bold new initiative to move our Roanoke Valley Baptist Association churches toward greater health, stronger collaboration, and deeper missional impact.

We’re proposing a three-year strategic plan that will guide our association through key updates in our organizational structure, goals, and overall function. Our focus will center on church planting, replanting, and revitalization.

Join us as we introduce this proposal to pastors and staff. We will be presenting this at the 2025 RVBA Spring Meeting, having informational meetings from May - October and voting on this proposal at the 2025 RVBA Fall Meeting.

Come learn about a bold new initiative to move our Roanoke Valley Baptist Association churches toward greater health, stronger collaboration, and deeper missional impact.

We’re proposing a three-year strategic plan that will guide our association through key updates in our organizational structure, goals, and overall function. This effort will be led by our Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) and will require the prayerful engagement and participation of our pastors and church leaders.

Our focus will center on church planting, replanting, and revitalization. As an association, we’re committing to support these efforts with a 3–5 year investment—offering financial support, prayer, practical resources, and people—to help churches reach their communities with the Gospel, make disciples, and grow healthy congregations.

Join us as we introduce this proposal to pastors and staff. We will be presenting this at the 2025 RVBA Spring Meeting, having informational meetings from May - October and voting on this proposal at the 2025 RVBA Fall Meeting.
